NADbank Inc. 2011 Board of Directors

NADbank Inc. (Newspaper Audience Databank) held its Annual General Meeting on May 11, 2011. Kevin Bent, President & Publisher Pacific Newspaper Group, Executive Vice-President Western Canada Postmedia Network Inc., Chair of the NADbank Board is retiring from the Board. Jean Durocher, Vice president, Marketing & Sales at La Presse Ltée and President of Gesca Media Sales will replace Mr. Bent. Mr. Durocher has over thirty years experience in the advertising industry and brings with him extensive knowledge in marketing and advertising sales. Over the past three decades Mr. Durocher has gained experience in radio, print and television, working for major media organizations such as CKAC, Telemedia, TVA, TQS and Quebecor Communications.

The other two key officers of NADbank’s Board of Directors remain unchanged Andrew Saunders, Vice President, Advertising Sales, of The Globe and Mail continues as Vice-Chair. Veronica Engelberts, President, Vector Media continues as Treasurer.

NADbank Inc. is the principal research arm of the Canadian Daily Newspapers industry and a tri-partite organization whose membership is comprised of daily newspapers, advertising agencies, media companies and advertisers. NADbank conducts annual readership, product, retail and lifestyle category studies in urban markets across Canada.
