At the end of the NADbank 2009 fieldwork 25 of the 36 markets measured met or exceeded their 2009 completion targets. Five markets achieved 98% or better. The overall completion rate, subject to editing adjustments was 39%. This is marginally less than the completion rate of 43% obtained in 2008.

The average interview length was 15.7 minutes excluding screening with a high of 17.9 minutes in Montréal CMA and a low of 8.9 minutes in Halifax EMA.

The overall mail-back acceptance rate was 63% with overall response rate of 35%.

Revised NADbank 2010 Fieldwork Schedule

The 2010 fieldwork schedule has been revised. Telephone interviews will now be conducted during the week of February 15 to coincide with the start of the Winter Olympics. In 2008 and 2009, no telephone interviews were conducted in the week that Family Day occurred. With the revised schedule, the spring wave of interviewing will end in the week of June 8 instead of June 15. The revised schedule is now available on the NADbank website.
